Head of Planning - EMAAR
Ahmed Mubarak, a civil engineer graduated of Faculty of Engineering Alexandria University, holding 21 years of extensive experience in Project Management field, construction industry and real estate development.
Mubarak has various experiences in different projects’ types including Residential, Commercial, Hotels, and Infrastructure. Starting his career with intense exposure in contracting companies, he finally joined Emaar Misr for Development since 2011.
Being the head of planning in Emaar Misr, he is currently managing the planning role for all Emaar Misr developments starting from land acquisition till the final handover of the entire development.
Previously, Mubarak was Project Controls Senior Manager of Emaar Misr, concentrating on construction packages with total value of EGP 42 billion. Already executed works value up to date is EGP 27 billion.
Mubarak holds Master degree of Science in Construction Engineering and Project Management, graduated of Arab Academy for Science and Technology. In addition, Mubarak is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP Certificate) and a Certified Scheduling Professional (SP Certificate) from Project Management Institute.
Mubarak is also a Co-Author of a scientific paper published in the “Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, Vol. 134, No. 11, November 1, 2008.” In addition, he was honored to be participating in writing the (SP Certificate) exam questions.
Moreover, Mubarak introduced a hands-on training program to cover the possible career pathways in the Project Management field. In addition, he participated in many Project Management events as a lecturer.
