Amira Mousa

Project Management Consultant

Amira Mousa is a Fulbright scholar pursuing a masters degree in sustainable development practice at the University of Florida (UF). She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over twelve years of experience managing projects in the MENA region. Prior to joining UF Amira held different positions across the construction sector, such as Project management consultant, Design manager, Business Development Manager, Business Consultant Assistant, and Engineering Division Coordinator. 

Throughout her career, Amira has led projects with a total construction cost of $460 Million and coached 140 multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project success. 

Amira has delivered project management workshops at reputable universities such as the American University in Cairo, Ain Shams University, Canadian International College, and Mansoura University. Additionally, within the UNHCR Egypt programs, Amira has trained Refugees on social innovation, project management and planning for small-scale ventures. Amira’s current research focuses on strengthening social enterprises’ contribution to sustainable development through impact measurement in East Africa. She holds a B.Sc. Civil Engineering.
